Welcome FOCUS!

To all those visiting our website from the 2014 FOCUS Student Leadership Summit – welcome! It was truly a pleasure to talk with everyone who visited our booth and met with us during the conference.

Please do take a moment to look around our site, check out a few of the links we are featuring on this page, and to tell us a little bit about you through our special FOCUS Inquiry Form

Whether you are interested in one of our excellent degree programs, or simply wish to take courses for personal enrichment, we have many options available. I will be delighted to answer any questions you have, so feel free to email me at, or give me a call at 888-450-DSPT. If you are visiting the Bay Area, be sure to let me know. I would love to connect with you in person and show you around DSPT!

- Jamie Martos, Director of Recruitment and Admissions

This was our first trip to the FOCUS Leadership Summit and we are very excited for this opportunity. With an ongoing commitment for the pursuit of truth, our community of scholars works hard to engender collaborative leadership. The small nature of our graduate school allows faculty to work closely with students to help them build effective listening and communication skills which fosters decisions stemming from and leading to an open, transparent, and mutually enriching dialog with others. Our historical tradition inspires us to explore the interface between philosophy & theology so that we can engage more effectively the more pressing topics of our time. We specialize in an integrated approach, offering a concurrent study opportunity by which students can write one thesis and obtain two MA degrees. Inspired by the work of the previous two popes and the Pontifical Council for Culture, we also believe strongly that the arts are one of necessary tools for the new evangelization. Through a concentration in religion and the arts, students can develop Catholic leadership in this arena.

I hope that you will take a moment to explore our program offerings, and do feel free to contact us for more details.
