Convocation of College Fellows 2026 - Wisdom & The Tranquility of Order: Reflections on Popes Leo XIII & Leo XIV
The 2026 convocation of the College of Fellows of the Dominican School of Philosophy & Theology will be devoted to reflection and conversation of the pontificates of Popes Leo XIII and XIV through the lens of the interconnected notions of wisdom as that which enables us to order things well and peace as the tranquility of order. Which dimensions of Christian wisdom articulated by Pope Leo XIII will be most fruitful in our attempts to achieve the tranquility of order in the contemporary context under Leo XIV's pontificate? What challenges does AI present to wisdom's achievement of peace as the tranquility of order?
