Dr. Matthew Thomas nominated for Book Award
Dr. Matthew Thomas’ “Paul’s ‘Works of the Law’ in the Perspective of Second Century Reception” has been nominated for the New Testament category of the Center for Biblical Studies Best Book Award. This work seeks to illuminate this phrase, so formative of 16th century polemics, by considering its reception by the earliest post-Apostolic writers. It is extraordinary for bringing together the worlds of New Testament and Patristic scholarship. The winner will be announced on February 19th, 2021.
