St. Albert's Seminar - February

Our next St. Albert's Seminar will be featuring Fr. Bryan Kromholtz, O.P. The title of his seminar is "Enjoying the Triune God: St. Thomas Aquinas on the Trinitarian character of the saints' final beatitude"

Abstract: "Some theologians have recently questioned whether St. Thomas’s doctrine on the final beatitude of the saints is sufficiently Christological. It may also be asked: Is it sufficiently Trinitarian? Fr. Kromholtz will show that Aquinas’s account of the saints’ visio Dei is indeed significantly Trinitarian in character, with the divine Persons being both the supreme Object of ultimate beatitude and the means of attaining it and remaining in it. The presenter will also suggest that this teaching is consonant both with Aquinas’s theocentric (and non-egocentric) theological anthropology and with his view of the place of Christ’s risen humanity in final beatitude."

Refreshments start at 12:30pm followed by the presentation at 12:45pm.

Recording of the seminar will be posted on YouTube the following week.
