2017 Dominican Colloquium
Person, Soul and Consciousness: Philosophical and Theological Perspectives
July 12-15, 2017
2017 Dominican Colloquium
This colloquium, part of an ongoing triennial series on the intersection between philosophy and theology, sought to continue the venerable Dominican tradition of bringing together philosophers and theologians to explore questions of contemporary importance.
This colloquium’s particular theme was the human person in his or her full intellectual, spiritual, and embodied existence: How do philosophical insights into the human person illumine topics within theology, and how do recent developments in theology present challenges or opportunities for philosophical research into consciousness, person, and the soul?
