The 25th Annual Aquinas Lecture will be delivered by DSPT Professor of Religion and the Arts Michael Morris, OP. While the writings of Thomas Aquinas have been studied and celebrated for centuries, the legends of his life and the meaning behind the manner of his representation in art have attracted less attention. In this illustrated lecture Michael Morris, OP, an art historian, will examine the iconography of the saint and explore the fables and the facts behind the Church’s most honored theologian.
